1. First things First:  before your feet hit the floor…pray, give thanks & ask for help where you need it.  Acknowledge the Creator, humble yourself, ask for wisdom which He gives generously to all who ask without reproach (James 1:5), imagine the benefit of beginning each day thankful, even in difficult circumstances, trusting that God is good and He listens to those who seek Him.
  2. Stretch (before you even get out of bed!)  Go to https://clearviewchiropractic.net/before-you-even-get-out-of-bed-begin-your-day-moving-well/ for a great stretch routine
  3. Drink 2 glasses of water; add fresh lemon juice or a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar (with the Mother) to start your day hydrated and ready to digest a great breakfast, or prepare for an extended fast should you choose to do intermittent fasting for the day (https://clearviewchiropractic.net/why-you-should-consider-intermittent-fasting/)
  4. Take your high-quality probiotics first thing in the morning, at least 30 minutes before you eat anything.  You should choose a probiotic that has a minimum of 9 strains of different beneficial bacteria.  This aids your body’s immune system, digestion, and even helps your brain function because of the incredible connection between your gut and your brain!
  5. Take other supplements with meals, so when it’s time to eat, choose non-sugary options that are high in fiber, protein and good fat, like scrambled eggs with avocado and salsa or a smoothie packed with oatmeal, fruit, high quality protein, collagen & almond butter.  Packing your breakfast with good nutrients is such a great way to start your day.  If you like to do intermittent fasting, no worries, just do water or herbal tea in the morning, then use these same principles when you break your fast later!
