A quick morning routine can change everything when it comes to your joints & muscles functioning well!  Here’s a quick lower body range of motion routine to try before you even get out of the bed in the morning.  

I highly recommend starting your day 1st with acknowledging that the LORD allowed you another morning, thank Him for what He has planned today and ask Him to help you trust Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding but acknowledge Him in all your ways and ask Him to make your path straight (Proverbs 3:5-6) just an example of prioritizing your heart and mind getting in the right position…then begin to move your body well.  

2nd – pull 1 knee straight toward your chest, then rotate your knee to the outside & then across your body (repeat on the other side) 

3rd – with your knee bent, pull your toes upward toward your ankle (repeat on the other side)

4th – pull both knees up toward your chest, then let both knees together rotate to one side; pull them back to your chest and then let both knees together rotate to the other side

5th – put both legs straight out, point your toes and reach as high as you can with both arms above your head and then roll your ankles & wrists both ways, then turn your head both ways stretching your neck

6th – get up out of bed

7th – do your Wall Exercises and/or your YWTL stretches and then proceed with your morning (if you don’t have these 2 sets of exercises/stretches for some reason, stop at the front desk and we’ll get you a copy!)
