We’re all on a trajectory; every decision we’re making has an accumulative effect either leading us toward healing, and a better, longer life…or the opposite. How you choose to eat, move and think on a daily basis not only matters for how you feel & function today, but how you’re going to feel & function in years to come.
Last week I heard no less than 7 people say, “I feel OLD!” I am here to tell you that I absolutely believe that feeling “old” the week after Thanksgiving where you ‘re out of your normal routine, undoubtedly eating more sugar than normal, perhaps stress from family dynamics, and add to that lack of exercise—we have ourselves a recipe for feeling “OLD.” I’ll mention another observation here that “Flu Season” is conveniently located on the calendar amongst the sugar-ridden holidays…where in the name of celebration, Americans binge on immune-system killing foods and drinks, thus, effecting VERY MUCH how we feel & function!!
So, how do we navigate the daily decisions we make in how we live, how we eat, move & think and what direction they inevitably lead us? Think about how you’d like to feel & function at the end of your life, truly give thought to this subject and meditate on it.
Do you want to grow weaker and weaker in your stamina, strength and ability to fight disease, continually depending on Big Pharma’s next ‘suggested solution’ which is no solution at all, rather it insures that you are a life-long dependent upon their drugs & procedures? Great, then keep being sedentary and feeding your body processed foods (with all the toxic seed oils and artificial ingredients) all day long, and numbing your mind with social media and whatever suggestions that Google makes for you. (Is that too harsh?! But, it’s true, isn’t it?!)
Do you want to get stronger and have energy to play with your grandkids and continue to live a productive and fulfilling life? Great, then decide today to move your body daily (stretch, walk, build muscle), feed your body high-quality protein and health fats (come to my eat well workshop in February!) and learn what kind of grains actually nourish your body instead of create more inflammation and pain.
Today is the day of decision, and if you need help, just ask, that’s what I’m here for – to help you choose the right path that will lead you where you want to go.
It takes INTENTIONALITY.
You will never re-gain your health or good function without putting in the work!
