I believe one of the most important facts we can grasp in the volatile and seemingly unstable days we live in is that God can and will turn what appears to be too overwhelming or what in our humanity we would label “bad” into something useful and refining and good.  The Book of Hosea is this incredible redemption story that reminds us that God will meet us right where we are, and though there ARE serious consequences for our disobedience and rebellion, He is a Redeemer.  He waits for us to return to Him in obedience and faithfulness.  Even after we’ve rebelled against Him and been unfaithful to Him…He remains faithful still.  Are you in a valley of trouble?  Look for the Door of Hope, and our God, who is faithful, will show you His goodness in the midst of hard times, if you’ll humble yourself.  He opposes the proud, but He gives His grace to the humble (James 4:6).  Yeshua (Jesus) said, “I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.” (John 10:9)
