Yeshua (Jesus) said in Luke 6:43-45,

43 “For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. 45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.

 Ephesians 4:29-32 says,

29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. 30 Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Messiah forgave you.

Ezekiel 36:25-27 says,

25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness, and from all your idols. 26 I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them.

And how do we receive a new heart?

How do we put away all those corrupt things & begin to bear good fruit?

We Repent (Acts 2:38-40). Which means we very practically and purposely turn away from our sin (the transgression of His Law, 1 John 3:4) and turn to Yehovah, the one true God, Creator of Heaven and Earth through faith in His Son, Yeshua (Jesus) and begin to follow Him and walk as He walked (1 John 2:6)!  The Scriptures are God’s instructions; His ways are right & just & true (Psalm 119:33-35)!
