My grandmother has played the piano for decades at her church in west Texas…I was thinking of one of the hymns I heard her play so many times. It says, “To God be the glory, great things He hath done, so loved He the world that He gave us His Son…” That line comes from maybe one of the most commonly quoted Bible verses of all time. I’m sharing it today because our world today is increasingly hostile to the truth of God and His Word, but IF we had the nerve to just ask God to reveal Himself and show us the truth (even if you didn’t believe in Him at all!)…What if we got the guts to just ask? Even if there was the slightest chance that Jesus really is the way the truth and the life, if it is true that no one comes to the Father except through Him and that there is no other name besides Jesus that anyone can be saved…wouldn’t it be worth considering? The Bible says that God desires for everyone to be saved!
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
