I wanted to share with you one of my favorite Psalms from the Bible. It speaks of God’s faithfulness, His forgiveness, the fact that He is to be feared and greatly revered by us, and that we can hope in His Word. We are reminded to place our hope in Him, and not other things or other people! With Him there is loving kindness and abundant redemption through the blood of Jesus, His Son. Below you’ll find the Psalm and a link to a worship song using the words from this Psalm, I hope you enjoy it!
Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yehovah.
Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.
If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
But there is forgiveness with You, therefore you are feared.
I wait for Yehovah. My soul waits. I hope in His word.
My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning; more than watchmen for the morning.
Israel, hope in Yehovah, for with Yehovah there is loving kindness. With Him is abundant redemption.
He will redeem Israel from all their sins.
