It’s that time of year again when people are inundated by the pressure of media and many medical professionals to get the ‘yearly’ flu shot. I want to just shed a bit of light on something perhaps you may not have considered. I’m a huge advocate of checking the ingredient list on the food that you buy for hidden toxic or unclean ingredients…vaccinations are no different! You should ALWAYSread the ingredient list of any vaccine that is recommended; be informed; make a wise choice because it is your body and you have the freedom to educate yourself. Here are just a few ingredients you may find: Mercury (a known neurotoxin), Glycol (a component in antifreeze) and Formaldehyde (the stuff they preserve cadavers with). Up until 2014 (just 5 years ago), every flu vaccine had aborted fetal cells within the ingredients. Thankfully, because of much lobbying by Pro-Life advocates, flu shots since then no longer have that ingredient. Unfortunately, there are still vaccines that contain aborted fetal cells, for example: Chicken Pox and MMR are amongst ones in the USA where there is NO vaccine available without aborted fetal cells. Additionally, there is only 1 single brand of Shingles vaccine in the US that doesn’t contain aborted fetal cells. Unknowingly, millions of Americans line up at the pharmacy to get the flu shot injected directly into their veins each year, believing it’s their best option to keep from getting sick…I would kindly, respectfully, and whole-heartedly disagree! Many get the flu from the shot itself, not to mention the long-term negative effects those toxic ingredients can have on your body. There are many natural alternative ways to boost your immune system and protect yourself from the flu. Vitamin C, Elderberry syrup/juice, Garlic, Olive Leaf Extract, Echinacea Goldenseal, Vitamin D3, Oregano essential oil, Probiotics, Exercise, LESS sugar intake & Getting Adjusted are all MUCH better options! And even if you DO get the flu: stay home, rest, gets lots of fluids and allow your body to fight off the virus! Our immune systems will be stronger when we have to fight disease…when your immune system is STRONG, it protects you from all diseases, cancers, bacteria, & viruses! Wash your hands MORE often and consider implementing those suggestions I made above to practice flu prevention.
