If I could give you some of the most simple advice for your health, truly it would be to embrace taking the small steps toward healing every day that you’re able to do now. Whether it’s exercise, fasting, drinking enough water – I believe what often holds us back is our assumption that if we can’t to everything today, then we might as well do nothing. This is a HUGE LIE!!! Start today on something you CAN do and watch how it begins to make changes in your attitude, your body and ultimately your health!
- Can you pick up 3lb weights or 5lb weights? Great, then start lifting those as you sit in your chair.
- Hold the countertop by your sink and do a set of 5 squats each morning.
- Stretch your muscles every day – if you cannot get onto the floor, then try it on your bed before you get up!
- You can begin intermittent fasting just by beginning to extend your time before you have any food an extra hour.
- If you drink soft drinks, start replacing one of them each day with a bottle of water; begin the habit today.
- Instead of eating after sundown, make the decision today to stop eating as the sun goes down.
- Also- while you’re at it, get outside and watch the sunset; set an alarm on your phone to remind you.
- Consciously do some deep breathing exercises today, 5 rounds of 4 seconds huge breath in through your nose, hold it 15 seconds, release it for 8 seconds through your mouth.
- Open your Bible today, read the Book of Deuteronomy, or Psalm 37, or Revelation chapters 1-3, did you know there is a blessing promised to those who read and hear the Book Revelation in Rev. 1:3?!
- Get on your knees & pray today. Give God thanks today, humble yourself, ask for wisdom, do not give up!
