Your gut is your biggest defense system against pathogens and outside invaders, playing a massive role in your immunity.
Your gut is intricately connected to your brain and your mental health via neurotransmitters which are produced in your gut.
Your gut CAN BE DAMAGED by antibiotics; vaccines; glyphosate (the active compound in Round-Up products) which has been shown to have infiltrated most ground water in America and on foods which are not organically-grown; too much stress (being in fight-or-flight shuts down your digestive system); lack of eating nutrient-dense and fiber-filled foods and eating too much processed food; and a lack of minerals and good bacteria, which allows overgrowth of bad bacteria.
The point of my title is that continuing to expose yourself to all these gut-damaging things and activities and situations – cannot be overcome just by buying a bottle of probiotics, as high-quality as they may be.
Your gut CAN BE HEALED – it takes time and effort, so here are some of my best and most simple suggestions:
- STOP the gut-damaging activities.
- Fulvic and Humic Acid Supplements (ION Gut Support -or- BEAM Minerals use discount code: DRSHARLA for 20% OFF) I usually recommend with bad gut or mental health issues, start with ION for at least 1 year (we have a specific gradual-introduction protocol available at our front desk, call (817)326-1174 or email us at office@clearviewchiropractic.net to request that protocol), then use BEAM daily for maintenance. If you don’t have bad gut issues, start with both the Blue & Green BEAM, you take ½ capful of each daily. Our bodies desperately need these minerals, and we’ve been so deficient for so many years, it can wreck our health.
- Get fermented foods into your diet daily, i.e. Raw, organic sauerkraut (HEB Organics), raw milk kefir; if you won’t eat/drink those, then choose a very high-quality probiotic supplement.
- Get natural fiber into your diet, and make sure you’re having a bowel movement daily!
