I have ZERO doubt that we are in the middle of an all-out war of wrong coming against right, lies coming against truth, evil against righteousness, and darkness against the true light. You see it everyday, and so do I.  The Bible is very clear about this in the Book of Revelation, that as we near the end of the age that Satan knows his time is short, and he’s filled with fury (Rev. 12:12). He comes against those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yeshua (Jesus) (Rev. 12:17).

So, how do we stand for what’s right, for truth, righteousness and true light in our day?  First, you must choose whom you will serve. Read Joshua 24:14-15 and 1 Kings 18 for two great examples where the Hebrew people were confronted directly with either worshipping the gods of the land in which they lived, or wholly giving themselves to the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob and walking, instead of the ways of the surrounding culture, in His ways alone.

I believe we stand at the same precipice today.  Whom will you serve?  Whom will you stand against?

Or will you find yourself lukewarm and spit out of His mouth (Rev. 3:16)?

Ephesians 6:10-18 contains exact instructions for those of us who have decided to follow Yeshua (Jesus) the Son of the Living God and give our lives to Him, worshiping the one true God and forsaking the ways of the world. If you have never given your life to Yeshua and you want to, here’s what you can do: call upon His Name, repent of your sins, renounce the agreements you’ve made with darkness and renounce the lies you’ve believed and give your life fully to Him and through His blood shed on the cross, enter into covenant with Yehovah, your Creator, the one true Living God.

Meditate on Ephesians 6:10-18—fight the familiarity if you’ve read this before.  Let the Holy Spirit speak, ask for revelation of what you’re missing in your armor today & put it on. Please notice in v.18 that prayer is actually part of the armor we must put on to stand against the schemes of the devil!!

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints…
