This concept is true in many subjects, but your decisions about your own HEALTH right NOW have a HUGE impact on how healthy you will be later. If you’re in your 30’s – the habits and efforts you make now will largely determine how healthy you are in your 40’s; if you’re in your late 60’s right now, what you’re currently doing will absolutely determine how you feel & function when you’re in your late 70’s. How you’re eating, your habits of movement and exercise and balance, how much effort you put into your relationships with others, your relationship with God, and how you’re using your brain cognitively are all accumulative. They add up over time.
Some of the best decisions you can make are those that yield good fruit over time – conversely, some of the unhealthy & toxic decisions you make are going to yield bad fruit that you will suffer the consequences of eventually. Ignoring good nutrition, living a sedentary lifestyle, neglecting your relationships with family, friends, and most importantly, God Almighty create situations that are hard to overcome.
