Matthew 25:14-30 is all about what is given to us and how faithful we are to DO something with what we’ve received.  But, 2 words really stand out to me as I read it again:

14 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to

a far country, who called his own servants and

delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave

five talents, to another two, and to another one, to

each according to his own ability; and immediately he went

      on a journey.

We are held accountable for what we do with what God gives us to steward.  Are we utilizing what He’s given us or are we squandering it?  The 2 servants that heard well done from the master were the ones that did something to grow and increase what He had given them.  The servant who was called wicked and lazy is the one who buried what he was given and did nothing with it.

What are you doing with what God has given you?

Not everyone is entrusted with the same thing.

Don’t waste your time longing for what He gave someone else, instead focus on the goods He gave to you to steward…and then pray, seek, ask Him how to increase and one day hear the glorious words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
